Responsive website design is a way of building a site so the same pages rearrange themselves to fit the screen in front of the visitor. On a wide monitor a service page might show three columns; on a phone those columns stack, the menu folds into a button, images shrink and buttons grow large enough to tap with a thumb. There is one website, one set of content and one address, rather than a separate mobile site that has to be kept in sync.
